To continue the collaborative efforts with AAHA, the members of INFAH and AAHA had a close interaction recently at Zoetis Office, Mumbai on 3rd November 2017. The event was attended by Dr. D. K. Dey, Mr. Vijay Teng, Dr. Vijay Makhija, Dr. Arun Atrey, Mr. Satish Pasrija and Dr. P.G. Phalke of INFAH, Mr. Rajesh Agarwal, Dr. Yash Goyal, Mr. Milind Limaye, Mr. Ketan Dhamanaskar and Dr. Sandeep Kharkhanis represented AAHA.
The meeting was scheduled to work closely with each other and address the common concerns which can subsequently be taken up with the concerned Regulatory authorities. Before proceeding with the Agenda, Mr. Rajesh Agarwal gave a brief about AAHA and its activities across Asia. He emphasized that AAHA always works very closely with local associations and intends to work with the same spirit with INFAH as well in India.
Some of the important areas of discussion were harmonizing regulatory process, AMR, market access to different nations, data protection & confidentiality, veterinary pharmacopeia and some of the import-export related matters.
The meeting ended on a very positive note with an intent to work closely for common goals and a larger benefit to the society.
