INFAH AGM

In view of ongoing pandemic, INFAH organised their 9th Annual General Meet at virtual platform on 25th September. The event was started with the welcoming address by Mr. Vijay Teng, President, INFAH. The yearlong activity details were provided by Dr. Vijay Makhija, General Secretary, INFAH. The financial details were shared by Dr. Jeetendra Verma on behalf of Dr. P. G Phalke. INFAH also released its White Paper on Feed Supplements with Dr. Satish Pasrija briefing the audiences on key elements of the White paper. The eminent external speakers: Dr. R. S. Sodhi, Managing Director, Amul and Dr. Suresh Chittori, President International Poultry Board and Chairman of Srinivasa Farms presented on the dairy and poultry industries respectively and also shared the impact of COVID on the industries. Dr. P K Shukla, Dean and Registrar, U.P. Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwa Vidyalaya Evam Go Anusandhan Sansthan (DUVASU), Mathura moderated the session. The Animal Health Industry is a dynamic industry with changes happening at various levels. Mr. Vijay Teng shared the leaders of various organisation who have superannuated and welcomed their successors. He also welcomed the newly joined members of INFAH viz. Avitech Nutrition Pvt. Ltd. and IDEXX Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. The most exciting event was INFAH Award ceremony which was taken up by Mr. Anurag Aggarwal, Vice President, INFAH. The legendries who received the INFAH awards are Dr. C. S. Bedi, Dr. Shriprakash Arora and Dr. Subhash Ramrao Kumthekar. Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Smita Mahajan, subcommittee member of INFAH. The online platform served as a way to connect to the members of INFAH. All the members appreciated the efforts to organise the event with great planning and meticulous execution.
