INFAH actively participated in the Indian Poultry Review Biosecurity Summit held at Kolkata on 11th May 2018. Over 85 delegates participated in this summit. Eminent Avian Pathologist Dr. J. L. Vegad, Prof. Pankaj Shukla and representatives of Industry were invited as speakers. Mr. Amit Saraogi, MD - Anmol feeds and Mr. Madan Mohan Maity of West Bengal Poultry Federation shared their views on the need of Biosecurity measures to curtail spread of poultry diseases.
Dr. Vijay Makhija, General Secretary - INFAH, represented INFAH in the event and highlighted the role of INFAH in ensuring Healthier Animals and Healthier India. Dr. Makhija shared his views on significance of Biosecurity in Poultry Farms.
