INFAH Sub-committee on Imports and Exports met the Commissioner Customs (Imports), DDC (I), ADC (I) South Zone along with other Drug Inspectors and staff at Chennai on 20th December 2018. Dr. Jeetendra Verma, Dr. Tanweer Alam (Kemin) and Mr. Kashish (Zoetis) represented INFAH in this stake holder's meeting.
Dr. Verma appraised the house with INFAH activities and acquainted them with the current issues the member companies are facing in importing the feed supplements, vaccines, drugs for their business. Commissioner Customs (Imports) Mr. Nayak gave patient hearing to all the issues and asked INFAH to meet him anytime on the issues of pending bank guarantees. DDC(I) Mrs. Shanthy Gunasekaran assured all possible help from her office and ADC(I) Dr Manavalan assured us to help the animal health industry in all import related issues.
It was very fruitful meeting with these officials in building the relationship on behalf of INFAH. All member companies having any issues related to imports in South Zone can approach them directly or in co-ordination with INFAH.
