A milestone moment for AMR stewardship in Indian animal agriculture. With an objective to spread awareness about Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) among industry stakeholders, farmers, professionals, and the next generation of animal health experts, CII FACE, jointly with INFAH as Knowledge Partner and Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University, has started AMR Stewardship Drive 2025 and already organized 2 sessions:

Session 1 at ICAR–NIVEDI, Bengaluru on 11th July 2025 & Session 2 at Nagpur Veterinary College on 11th August 2025.

This nation-wide campaign focuses on building awareness, capacity, and stewardship to combat AMR in animal agriculture.

At the heart of this initiative was the unveiling of the CII FACE report: "Industry-led AMR Stewardship in Animal Agriculture."

The report consolidates voices from across the industry, government, academia, and farmers—mapping the drivers of AMR, identifying critical gaps, and offering clear recommendations for change.

Parallelly along with event, students actively participate in the Collage-Making Competition on the topic “Be Antibiotic Smart: The Future is in Your Hands. Such engaging initiatives not only spark creativity but also nurture a new generation of professionals committed to leading the fight against AMR in the livestock and aquaculture sectors.
